The film focuses on the development of the relationship between Julie, a young woman, and "R", a zombie, and how their eventual romance developed throughout. The film is rare for its human characteristics in zombie characters. It is also unusual in such stories because it is told from the point of view of a zombie.
Warm Bodies is a heart warming film with fresh new faces, including the break out reality t.v. star Analeigh Tipton. This rising star is one to watch.
I recently had the pleasure of viewing the new zombie movie titled “Warm Bodies” I have to admit I was anticipating another run of the mill blood and gore zombie movie. I was surprised with the empathy and compassion shown in the storyline.
The story begins some time after the zombies take over the world and the storyline is centered around a teenage zombie known only as “R” played by Nicholas Hoult who wanders the world in search of flesh to eat and quickly it becomes obvious that he is not like any other zombie.
The remaining humans are recruited by ‘Grigio’ played by John Malkovich to uphold what little bit of normality the humans have left. After being sent on a mission the character Julie, played by Teresa Palmer, who plays John Malkovich’s daughter in the film is saved by the main character “R”. The zombie has begun to have memories and is beginning to feel once again. This soon begins a journey that changes the fate of humans and zombies worldwide.
Although the cast is a cast that has fresh new faces perhaps it is Julie’s best friend “Nora” played by AnaleighTipton that had the most surprising break out role of the show. Her role as sidekick quickly stole the show with her unique look and comedic relief.
The reality show star is most known for her unforgettable photos and camaraderie on the 11th cycle of America’s Next Top Model in 2003. It is no wonder she was one of the final three during that cycle of the show. Since then her modeling and acting career has been in full swing. She signed with Ford Models and her acting career appears to be in well under way.. She landed roles in earlier films like “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “The Green Hornet.”
In her younger years she was known for her ice skating. She and her partner were two-time regional champions, and competed at the U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships twice. Tipton still does charity ice skating events locally. She is currently going to school in Marymount College in Palos Verdes, California where she is studying film.
Analeigh Tipton has one more movie completed and two more in works. We look forward to watching this rising star. Her smart and talented ways are taking young Hollywood by storm.
